The Change of Days

Jesus is coming Soon.
The Rapture is upon us.
The End Is Near.
The Millenium of Christ is here.
These are the End Times.

George W. Bush thought so when God told him to become President.
Sarah Palin belongs to a sect outside the regular Pentecostal Church that believes that the End of Days means Joel's Army will fight the Anti-Christ of the World Government from the Alaskan fortress. She believes that she and Todd are God's instrument in all of that.
About this time in his run for the President John McCain probably thinks maybe his end is near.

Well they are correct to a degree.
The end is near, but not the one they think.
We have spent 30 years in the era of corporate business controlling and manipulating governments and workers. That is over. Americans have not seen any real increase in wages in two decades. The Rich get richer and the rest of us hover on the chasm.

That is over.
Within three weeks we will change.
Americans crave Change today. But not all crave the same change.

We have already taken the giant stride towards socialism by having governments across the world save their corporate economic structures by buying stock in them. Governments are becoming the corporations. America is becoming a economic stockholder of the world. Surely that is a harbinger of the "World Government".

We are faced in America with the most important choice since the Civil War. Which way shall we go. Shall we elect Obama and turn to our socialist natures that Roosevelt and Johnson inspired or elect McCain and chase ideologies that have already failed. Or shall we indulge in a new Civil War? Electing McCain or Obama could trigger that? Or if some nut takes out McCain or Obama that could most likely start such a conflict. William Ayers and the madness of 1968 are only a small taste of what we have become capable. 1968 compared to 2008 could easily be compared to the Weather Underground's 2lb bombs and McVeigh's 5000lb bomb in their difference. Maybe we will come to our senses. Maybe we will lose our senses.

Whatever the scenario, in three weeks we will change.
We will Change. But How?

Enter :The Change of Days

Post Script: Which ever way it goes, I will stop these rants here at this blog and return to my mild madness of pictures and inanities. That is if I'm not out on the barricades.

Civil War? See a lot of that type of talk on the far right. We are to understand that Nixon, Ford,
Reagan, Bush, Bush just weren't enough...any ANY dem would turn us
marxist within hours. I keep sorting through this looking for
anything rational...then the GOP candidate has to calm down his own 'lynch mob'. Meanwhile that bunch is taking us down the tubes.
Go figure....

Civil War?
Maybe we are already in one and just don't know it yet. It does seem like the Republican base won't be satified with just a Republic anymore. Strange though that it is a Republican administration that has capitulated to "socialism" and yet it is the Democrats fault that they did.
The Cat is Out of the Bag.
McCain doesn't seem to be in charge of his own campaign anymore. Nothing he can do about now.

Kevin Phillips (Bad Money) (Pollyanna Creep) was on C-span this AM. For a crusty old Ivy League type, he turns out pithy
observations...GOP laissez capitalism is "privatisation of profit and socialization of risk"
..the reason the dems can't get into office is because they 'don't go for the juglar..they go for the templar"..and he is befuddled that with two old oil men (Bush, Cheney) at the helm, we have screwed up oil hopelessly..in his words, "Like we have GoodHumor men running the show" He is a curmudgeon, but a smart and prescient one.

Kevin Phillips, smart dude, "...privatisation of profit and socialization of risk..."

Along time mentor of mine pointed that trend out to me decades ago.

The Republicans in Oklahoma City have been doing that since Statehood. Google up 'Gaylord Oklahoma City' and see the stuff.

Say bb-i it seems that since my passion against lies, deceit, and bigotry has caused me to make these comments, that you and I have been having a partial dialog, by our lonesomes. Interestingly I'm not revealing how much I really feel in these post, and yet they seem toxic to people. Some won't touch my blog for fear that some of my past associates would still be interested in me and they might be "caught" reading it.
And I thought I was paranoid. Interesting.

Appreciate your stopping by.

Hmmm. The Cicil War really started in 1820, and was temporarily quelled in 1850. So, maybe yer right.
