drlobojo is not a doctor, nor is he a wolf, although he has been called a cur on occasion, nor is he a jo which is Scottish for sweetheart having never been called that to his recollection. He is a pre-Atomic (born before the first bomb blast in New Mexico), a boy off of the Red River of Oklahoma, son of a share cropper, and poor white trash at that.

Look Up and Smile: The Drone You See May Be Your Last
Update on my Monday February 15 blog "Look Up and Smile":
This weeks Newsweek Magazine has an article on the flip side of Drone Airplane technology entitled: Defending Against Drones.
How our new favorite weapon in the war on terror could soon be turned against us!
For less than $50,000 a few amatures could shut down Mahattan, says a robotics expert.
Whoopie!
The article was written by P.W. Singer who is the director of the 21st Century Defense Initiative at the Brookings Institution and the author of Wired for War: The Robotics Revolution and Conflict in the 21st Century.

A rudimentary technology has been around. I'd hate to get chased by
this thing ...heck, a little shoe bomber stuff and an onboard camera and I'd run like heck!
Now that is truely neat stuff! My late father-in-law was a navigator on a B-29, the 2-B-Sweet-II out of Tinian.
