Tom Coburn Violates The Hippocratic Oath (AGAIN)!

"First, Do No Harm."

As an M.D. Tommy took that oath.
What part of "Do No Harm" did he not understand?
Maybe being a Senator is a higher calling than being a doctor.

Tom Coburn Stops Jobless Benefits and COBRA Subsidies

By ANDREW TAYLOR, Associated Press Writer Andrew Taylor, Fri Mar 26, 3:00 am ET

"WASHINGTON – As Congress raced to leave Washington for its Easter recess, a Republican senator blocked a stopgap bill to extend jobless benefits, saying its $9 billion cost should not be added to the national debt.
As a result, some people who have been out of work for more than six months will at least temporarily lose benefits. Newly jobless people won't be eligible to sign up for generous health insurance subsidies.
At the center of the battle is Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., who's insisting that the measure be "paid for" so as not to add to the nation's $12.7 trillion debt.
"What we are doing is stealing future opportunity from our children," Coburn said Thursday."....

Is it Spite? Is it Stupidity? Does he have worms in his head? Can he not see the children in his own State from whose mouth he is taking bread NOW?

I am mortally ashamed that Senator Tom Coburn is from my State.
Ashamed!

Yes, I have worked to remedy that situation, but is like pissing into the Oklahoma wind. The blow-back smells. Never-the-less I'll do it again in the November 2010 campaign.

May God for give you Tom for the harm you have caused in the name of discredited secular ideologies and pig headed personal certainty. I know that you subscribe to the belief (of the Family) that you are one of God's Special Chosen Men, then act like one.

I've been working on an idea for giving titles to people who have honorifics with their name, Like Dr So-an-dso, or Judge Whats-his-name that fail to live up to the obligations such titles bring.

So say a medical doctor, behaves in a manner contrary to being doctor. It is inappropriate to still refer to them as 'Doctor', because being a doctor is a moral as well as professional position and they no longer qualify. I suggest for fallen doctors we attach the dis-honorific 'Hypocrite' to their name, to haunt them forever like a scarlet letter, and give warning to all that they encounter that they are no doctor, and a dubious person.

By the power I don't actually have, I hereby revoke Tom Colburn's Medical Doctorate, including all associated rights and privileges, and do hereby decree that he shall henceforth be known and shall identify himself as "Hypocrite Coburn".

Priest, when caught and outed at something they are de-frocked. So what makes an M.D. an M.D.? It is their liscense. Maybe "Revokee", as in Revokee Tom Coburn.
