drlobojo is not a doctor, nor is he a wolf, although he has been called a cur on occasion, nor is he a jo which is Scottish for sweetheart having never been called that to his recollection. He is a pre-Atomic (born before the first bomb blast in New Mexico), a boy off of the Red River of Oklahoma, son of a share cropper, and poor white trash at that.

Senator Inhofe Uses Family to Mock Climate Change
Inhofe family builds "igloo" in Washington to mock Al Gore climate change concerns.
Then the Senator post pictures on his facebook page.
At least this got more coverage than his "speeches" in Copenhagen.
He of course knows nothing about why the all-time record snow occurred. Pacific current warming?, ENSO?, El Nino? What's that?
Makes me so proud to be an Oklahoman.

One would think if the guy can build an igloo, he must be familiar with this ...
Inhofe has become a train wreck. I just hate that he parks that d@mn train in OK.
Actually it is too late to worry about Inhofe's ignorance. It is way passed the tipping point. What we need is a Federal Plan about what to do next. Actually I guess we already have that. The Pentagon has been working on such for 20 years. But don't tell Jim Inhofe he might burn it.
By the way BB, I'm pretty sure Jim's grandkids were the one's that built it.
Logic, the colder it is the more snow?
What I can't understand is why someone who has all lived their life in Oklahoma doesn't understand that "Warm" air holds more moisture and thus makes more snow when it hits cold air? We sit here in Oklahoma and do that kind of counter intuitive weather predictions year after year.
The colder the air the less moister a.k.a. snow, ice, etc.. My 18 to 24 year old Geography students could get this concept. Why can't Senators?
I'm another Okie who blogged about this:

Inhofe and Kern are in a race to see who can embarrass us the most.
Welcome to this site Deanna.
Is it De-anna or Dean-na?
As a geographer that has studied the climate shift one way or the other for 40 years plus, Jim Inhofe drives me nuts, even as far back as when he was mayor of Tulsa.
Thanks for the welcome. It's Dee-ann-a, but I answer to most anything that starts with a 'd'. ;)
