That was then, but this is now. Witches, heretics or terrorist it matters not.

"Among the starting revelations from the release of the Bush-era torture memos: Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the supposed mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, was waterboarded 183 times in March 2003. According to the memos, a terror suspect was potentially subject to two two hour sessions every day, each with six actual waterboardings of between 10 and 40 seconds. Another suspect, Abu Zabayadh, was waterboarded 83 times in a single month."

New memos, new data:
Sadly we now know that the torture was not to elicit intelligence but to brain wash these two or three high value targets into a confession that Saddam Hussein was involved with 9/11. Thus justifying the Iraq invasion.
That is a crime of a much greater magnitude. Alas we will let it go unpunished, but will the world?
Yes, the world will let it pass. the world is one lazy ass.
My prediction. Happy to be wrong.
