If It Goes Untreated, Lieberman's Erotomania Can Kill You

Today on Fox "News" Senator Joe Lieberman pulled a very serious symptom out of his rectum.

"If the public option plan is in there, as a matter of conscience, I will not allow this bill to come to a final vote, because I believe the debt can break America and send us into a recession that's worse than the one we're fighting our way out of today."

At first I thought it was just the money he was getting from the Health Insurance Companies.

Now I believe he is in love, or wants to be loved, Lieberman is suffering from erotomania.

Erotomaniac

(Wiki): " The core symptom of the disorder is that the sufferer holds an unshakable belief that another person is secretly in love with him or her. In some cases, the sufferer may believe several people at once are "secret admirers." The sufferer may also experience other types of delusions concurrently with erotomania, such as delusions of reference, wherein the perceived admirer secretly communicates his or her love by subtle methods such as body posture, arrangement of household objects, and other seemingly innocuous acts (or, if the person is a public figure, through clues in the media). Erotomanic delusions are typically found as the primary symptom of a delusional disorder"

Will Bunch at the blog ATTYTOOD says it best:
"Some 68 percent of his constituents in Connecticut favor the public option, but Joe Lieberman is instead siding with his campaign contributors: $2,395,369 from the health sector and $1,033,402 from the insurance industry during his undistinguished Senate career. Researchers at the Harvard Medical School say that 45,000 Americans die from lack of insurance coverage every year, so extending that to Connecticut's roughly 3.5 million people, that would be about 1,000 every year just in the Nutmeg State alone. I wish Lieberman could be forced to explain his position to the families of every blessed one of the deceased."

What I haven't quite figured is if Obama is the true object of his affection. If so then Health Care Reform can be saved. Obama can give him some position in the government and soak him in the affection Joe needs. Let's hope that it is not more complicated than that. I mean if it is really Mc Cain that is his object, then we are screwed.

But what if, just maybe, he thinks America admires and loves him. Now that would explain why the nine protestors in front of his office had to be arrested last Tuesday. They were withdrawing affection and had to be punished. How dare they!
