Back of the Book

I've spent a long session
Preparing for the final test
I've read and studied the entire text
I've done the experiments and recorded their results
Then swept up the remains
I've tried to commune with those gone before
But they don't respond or give me the answers
I've spent all semester seeking
Looking for the Teacher's Edition of the Text
I suspect the answers are in the back of the Book
Cause they most surely aren't up front
Soon my whole class will take the exam
Each have to pass or fail on their own
If I don't muster my private rapture and fail
If I don't pass
Do I have to repeat

Drlobojo, I have to say I do not care for this post. I hope you are not issuing a statement here.

"And the ultimate reason why, when we gaze upon God in the dark night of a faith which is infused with charity, we are transformed into His likeness is that, although it is true and important that we are looking at God, it is equally true and far more important that he is looking at us. And though our view of Him may indeed by obscure and even distorted, His view of us is entirely clear and penetrates to the depth of our being.
'Now you have known God,' writes St. Paul to his Galatian converts, 'or rather are known of God.' So in the Compline psalm we pray 'Lord, lift up the light of your countenance upon us,' and indeed the Vulgate version turns this prayer into a declaration: 'Lord, the light of thy countenance has been stamped upon us.'"

Tests? There is no Test for Creation... only the increase of grace and glory.

Trixie all poetry is a statement of something. What statement do see you here?

Feodor, no test? No temptation? No trials and tribulations? Nothing to overcome? No judgement? No Job? Universal Salvation?

Trixie, what statement do you see here? That's a better grammer.

The One who judges us will be the One who loves us so much he died for us. I do not feel threatened by that.

I'm thinkin it about summer school. With the swine flu dustup, I figured I'd stop butchering my hoggs cause one of'em might give it to me. In the meantime, they been gettin fat as...well, hogs. Clara, my biggest mama pig is up to 1200 lbs. To offset the cost of feedin her, I leased to her out to the local school district...she's been haulin kids to...summer school...poor Clara--guess where they stuck the lil stop sign.

Course, when I went to summer school, I had to ride the 'short' hog.

Dr. Bill, I always wanted to be one of those who rode high on the hog, but the principal took my stuff away from me. Them bristles sure did stick without my anesthetic.
